EXPERIENCE
Betty Blue offers boudoir sessions in Austin and the surrounding area as far as San Antonio with the majority of the sessions in her South Austin studio location. The studio is bathed in natural light. There is also an intimate portrait studio residing next door.
Let's Chat
Every session begins with an initial consultation, so we can get to know one another. I encourage clients to use this time for questions and ideas. It can be a simple telephone call, or face-time session.
Booking
After the initial consultation, we'll work together to book your session date. I have some wonderful resources for outfits which I love to share with clients to help them with their vision. Also, I have two highly talented makeup and hair artists that will also be booked upon confirming the date.
Let's Create Magic
On the day of your session, we'll sit and chat for a while - sip a glass of champagne, wine or a topo-chico and listen to your favorite music. Whatever makes you feel comfortable. After hair, makeup, and a few sips of your favorite drink - we'll get right down to it. Just you, me, and the camera. We will lay out your outfits and transition from there. You just never know which one will truly be your favorite.
Results
After your session, we'll post the best images to a password-protected private online gallery for you to view, enjoy, and maybe even share with that special someone. Each image is lovingly hand-retouched to accent your best features. From this gallery you will be able to select the images you want to have included in your package and album. Are you ready?
I have been photographing women for over a decade. I have the knowledge and experience to truly put a client in the best possible pose to accent the look. I work closely with my clients and will show them first. It is all about creating the right atmosphere and mood and even the right type of music speaks to that certain outfit or pose.
I like to have sessions last from one hour to one and a half. That way we can provide a lot of variety when you do the final gallery viewing and when I create the album.
All images are edited after, but no body-modifications are made. There are times where blemishes are taken out or highlights are brought out. I like to pose my clients in the best possible way that makes them look and feel amazing when they see the photos.
My style is reverent and bold, but also light and airy. It really depends on the individual and what they like. I like to start off the session with something you are most comfortable in. I like to offer variety in a session so that when we create the album that goes from one spectrum to the other.
No person is the same and we all look different. I have years of experience working with women of all ages and sizes. I try the pose out first to make sure I am comfortable in it and then we switch to you. I make sure everything is perfect first before I even start photographing you. That is having a purpose for why hands are placed somewhere and why the body "pops" like it does. I want you relaxed and having fun.
Friends are always welcome. Sometimes they make you feel more comfortable and sometimes they can be a little stressful with suggestions or ideas. In the end the answer is whatever makes you feel comfortable.
Some images will be in black and white but all photos will be in color.
I don't. I say this because women are all differed. There may be posses that are the same, but feel that everyone posses differently.
